PERA MUSEUM COFFEE TALKS
  • With collaboration of Turkish Coffee Culture and Research Foundation and hosted by Pera Museum, an event series consisting of four talks titled Coffee Talks were created for February – May 2016.
  • First event of the series started on 20 February Saturday with Osman Serim’s “Journey of Coffee From Yemen to World”.
  • The second event titled Material Culture of Turkish Coffee from Bean to Cup took place on 26 March Saturday with Assistant Professor Hatice Nihal Bursa’s presentation.
  • The third event titled “A Cup of Coffee Commits One to Forty Years” took place on 30 April Saturday with Professor Filiz Çalışlar Yenişehirlioğlu’s presentation.
  • The final event of the series was presented by Professor Kemalettin Kuzucu’s “Coffee, Reading and Coffee House” on 14 May Saturday as part of the exhibit.
